The name "Kiwi's Edge" is a double pun on our place in this world, by those who call ourselves "Kiwis" - see Kiwi Expat Association; and N Z Edge by Kevin Roberts, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi

New Zealand on a world map is often shown as being on the very edge, but I also think we have an "edge" in other ways - after all NZ did take the "America's Cup" against better funded teams!

Thanks to our down-to-earth upbringing, practical "hands-on" approach to problem-solving, and New Zealand's uniformly high level of education, Kiwis do consistently "punch above our weight" - a boxing phrase - in any endeavors that combine intelligence, creativity, & proven applicability.
